Innovative Aerosystems (IA) Flat Panel Display Systems (FPDS) deliver high-contrast, full-color LCD cockpit displays purpose-built for turbine-class business jets and turboprops. Designed to meet the rigorous reliability standards expected in modern cockpits, these systems are certified to the highest Design Assurance Levels, ensuring both hardware and software integrity for safety-critical operations. The FPDS architecture is field-proven with high mean time between failures (MTBF), minimizing downtime and lifecycle costs. Fully configurable, the displays support Primary Flight Display (PFD), Navigation Display (ND), Multi-Function/Mission Display (MFD), and Engine Instrument Display System (EIDS) functions for both OEM installations and retrofit upgrades.
Advanced Cockpit Display Technology
Each self-contained Display Unit (DU) integrates a built-in Symbol Generator (SG) into a compact, lightweight design, reducing wiring complexity compared to legacy systems. Powered by a high-end 3D graphics rendering engine with fully anti-aliased graphics, IA displays feature quadruply redundant LED backlighting for exceptional brightness and reliability without intensity loss over the product’s service life.
Proprietary non-glare, anti-reflective coatings ensure superior sunlight readability, and industry-standard I/O allows integration with a wide variety of Data Concentrator Units and Display Control Units.
Versatile & Configurable for Any Mission Profile
IA FPDS is available in Portrait or Landscape formats and four display sizes: 10.4-inch, 15.6-inch, 17-inch, and 20-inch. Configurations include the standard 10.4-inch, 5-display layout for commercial aircraft or any combination tailored to the aircraft’s mission requirements.
- 10.4″ PFD – High-resolution XGA LCD with ±80° viewing angle, NVIS-compliant lighting, and sunlight-readable coating; available in PFD and ND/MFD formats for OEM and retrofit applications.
- 10.4″ MFD – Designed for tactical and operational use with optional touchscreen interface and outstanding clarity.
- 15.6″ MFD – Large-format tactical display with touchscreen controls and high luminance.
- 20″ MFD – Lightweight, shallow-depth, sunlight-readable unit with natural convective cooling and optional glove-compatible touchscreen. Supports rapid reconfiguration of graphic formats for changing mission requirements. Optional integrated symbol generator available.
Engine Instrument Display System (EIDS) Upgrade
The IA EIDS offers a cost-effective, value-added retrofit for commercial engine instrument clusters. Compatible with existing cockpit configurations, it displays all engine parameters and surface position indicators in full-color graphical formats with exceedance alerting.
Customizable & Future-Proof Design
