Full Regime Autothrottle Functionality
ThrustSense enables automatic power control from takeoff to landing—including go-around. By continuously computing and adjusting engine output, the system helps prevent engine and airspeed exceedances and ensures precise power level management throughout all phases of flight.

Vmca Protection
In the event of an engine failure, ThrustSense’s Vmca Protection intelligently regulates power on the operative engine. This helps maintain directional control, mitigate underspeed conditions, and protect the engine—offering critical safety enhancement during one-engine-inoperative scenarios.
Guard Mode – Manual Flight with Safety Features
With Guard Mode, pilots can fly manually while benefiting from active system protections, including:
- Overspeed and underspeed flight envelope protection
- Engine torque and temperature exceedance safeguards
Compact, Integrated Autothrottle Interface
The autothrottle controlling computer is integrated into the IA lightweight Integrated Standby Unit (ISU)—a compact display designed to replace existing standby instruments. The ISU combines with IA precision throttle actuators installed in the existing throttle quadrant, eliminating the need for structural modifications and minimizing aircraft downtime.
