Unlock LPV Approach Capability Without Replacing Your FMS
Legacy aircraft equipped with Innovative Aerosystems (IA) Flat Panel Display Systems (FPDS) can now gain SBAS/LPV approach capability through the IA LPV Navigator upgrade. This cost-effective solution enables GPS-based precision approaches without requiring expensive Flight Management System (FMS) or Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR) replacements.
Cost-Effective Integration with Existing Systems
The LPV Navigator includes dual Beta-3 WAAS GPS receivers and antennas, integrating seamlessly with the IA Navigation Engine. This integration supports WAAS GPS-based LPV guidance, blending with existing Inertial Reference Unit (IRU) data and maintaining the use of your legacy FMS for all flight segments except approach.
When cleared for an LPV approach, the pilot enters the procedure directly into the IA’s FPDS, where the flight plan is displayed on the primary display and control is transitioned to the IA system for the final segment—enhancing situational awareness and pilot interface during critical phases of flight.
Certified, High-Accuracy GPS Performance
Fully compliant with RTCA DO-229D Class Delta-4 architecture, the IA LPV Navigator provides LPV navigational guidance using high-accuracy GPS position data.
The Beta-3 receivers provide:
Three-dimensional GPS positioning and velocity accurate to 10 feet
GPS RAIM and FD/FDE monitoring
Full support for DO-260B ADS-B Out mandate compliance
Modernizing Legacy Flight Decks with Minimal Downtime
This upgrade enhances operational flexibility and aircraft capability without major modifications or extended downtime. By avoiding a full FMS replacement, operators gain NextGen navigation functionality with reduced installation complexity.
Made in the USA – Designed for Performance
